Ceramic Textured Bottle Bud Vase

This bottle is from my "Sunken Treasure Series". It is wheel-thrown with a porcelaneous stoneware clay and has my rustic earthy lava-textured glaze on the outside and my trademark metallic red crackle finish on the lip.

The iridescence is achieved by adding Gold in powder form into the glaze and the piece is fired multiple times including a reduction firing (absence of oxygen during firing). The dragonfly wing effect is done by hand-painting.

Shown in red crackle glaze. Many other colors are available and can be ordered even if not currently in stock.

The one for sale here is 4" round. It is decorative and can be used as a dried flower vase.

This is a stock photo and I am sure that you appreciate the fact that I need time to make the work, instead of sitting in front of the computer all day. The one that you will be getting will be very close to the one in the photo, but not exactly the same, since every piece I make is truly handmade and unique. I guarantee you that I will be just as beautiful, if not more!
