Winged Mermaid Pendant, Unusual Greek Mykonos Casting, Holding her Double Tail
This is an unusual Silver plated casting from Greece of a beautiful winged Mermaid Figure, holding her open tail. This solid pewter pendant/charm is cast from a well-carved original, has excellent details.
The price is for ONE pendant.
It is 1 1/8" or 3cm long.
Made from silver-plated lead-free pewter. Oxidized black in part, in order to show the details more clearly. You can see how it is double-sided and how the different design on the back has the same oxidation.
It has a large hole (2mm) and is ideal for hanging from a silk ribbon or leather cord. These mermaids have been considered to bring good luck through the ages.
