New eco-friendly 3D printed "green plastic" knitting yarn bowls
Our NEW 3D printed yarn bowls are a great addition to our ceramic yarn bowl collection for those of you that would like to take your project with you everywhere you go. They are very light (from 4 ounces up to 1 lb) and very durable.
It's been very interesting for Marietta to work with her son Martin and watch her designs be converted into a digital file and then printed out slowly over the course of 12 hours or so. It's not an automatic a process as one might think, as it takes a lot of adjustment and fine tuning. In many ways very similar to handmade ceramics.
And like ceramics, each peace is a unique piece of Art, just in time for your gift giving!
Made from eco friendly PLA plastic which derives from corn and it's biodegradable.
