It is 5 3/4 inches wide and 3 1/2 inches tall.

I made this on my potter's wheel, and cut and carved the designs by hand while still unfired.

This lovely yarn bowl is made on the wheel and glazed with a nice smooth shiny white glaze and the designs have been highlighted with a luscious dark teal blueberry syrup effect glaze and sparkly gold stone details.

The Stars can be used to thread yarn, or just to inspire your wonderful knitting creations.

This design has multiple holes in the shape of stars as you can see in the photos, so that you can work with 3 or 4 different balls of yarn.

You just place the yarn ball in the bowl and pull the thread through the slot as you knit. The bowl will keep the ball from rolling across the floor, out of your kitty's playful paws, and it will twist and turn in the bowl as it gets unraveled while you knit!
