Mini Geode Rock Bowl
This is the mini version of Marietta's regular small geode rock bowls from the "Sunken Treasure Series" that she first made in Greece in 1992. After she moved to the US and visited Arizona and the Southwest she re-named it "Geode"™ bowl. The one for sale here is with the red interior and is 1" high by 3" wide approx.
Made to order
It is perfect for throwing in your jewelry and all the little stuff as you come in the house, or it can be used as a candle holder with a small votive candle.
It is wheel-thrown with a porcelaneous stoneware clay and has Marietta's rustic earthy lava-rock textured glaze on the outside and her trademark RED metallic crackle finish inside.
Every wheel thrown piece is a One Of A Kind masterpiece!
This is both decorative as well as functional . The glazes are food-safe. DO NOT put in a microwave, since the final glaze contains 6% 22K Gold metal in powder form. We recommend hand-washing with a mild detergent and you will enjoy it for a long time!
