Marsala -- Pantone color of the Year 2015

Posted on January 05, 2015 by BlueRoomPottery | 0 comments

I was pleasantly surprised to see my "Autumn Gold" yarn bowl featured in the "Pantone's Color of the Year: Marsala" newsletter that went out today, and also in the "New Year's Gifts" Etsy Browse featured items. This made me want to share it with you :)

It is a warm rich earthy dark red-brown color and I would call it "Keramidi" or "Terracotta Roof Tile Red" as it's called in Greece.

It is a favorite winter color of mine, because it reminds me of a sweater that my beloved late mom made for me in this color, when I was in high school.

So let me share here with you the featured piece,

and a Valentine Hearts' themed one for yourself or the special knitter in your life ♥

Enjoy!

A great gift for the knitter in your life

Posted on November 24, 2014 by BlueRoomPottery | 0 comments

Marietta has been working on a new series of beautiful knitting bowls, just in time for your Holiday gift giving.

Available in the following colors, will ship in about one week after order is placed.

Enjoy!

              Eggplant Purple                                              Mint Green

                     Emerald Green                                            Cobalt Blue

Just place the yarn ball in the yarn bowl and pull the thread through the slot as you knit. Yarn bowls keep the ball from rolling across the floor, out of your kitty's playful paws, and the ball will twist and turn in the bowl as it gets unraveled while you knit!

A very useful bowl and great to look at, as part of your decor when you take a break from knitting!

Happy Holidays!
